The Faith in Art Competition was open to Parishioners and Year 12 and 13 Students from our Catholic Schools. The theme for this competition was “Jesus proclaims the Kingdom of God: Repent and believe the Gospel” (Mark 1:14-15; Matthew 4:12-17)

Judges’ Comments
“We were looking at the quality of painterly skill displayed and how well the artists had fulfilled the brief… There was a wide range of high-quality pieces. Some had taken a very symbolic approach, others a more direct, and at times deliberately naive, approach. Catholic symbols were utilised often in fresh and exciting ways”.
